            There are too many cars on the streets in our city. Those cars produce much smoke that polluted the air. We also have another problem: there are not enough trees in our city. Most of the space is used for buildings. If we don’t do anything about the problems, the air pollution is going to get worse.

·         We must plant more trees

·         Save some space for the trees

            Life has been difficult for the villagers for the last ten years. Some rich city people cut down the forests. There has been some forest fires as well. As a result, the land is eroded. In rainy seasons, the village gets flooded. On ther other hand, in dry seasons, clear water is difficult to get because rivers and streams dry out. The villagers have to walk some kilometers away to find clear water.

·         Let’s help the villagers!

·         Stop forest destruction!

·         The government must provide clean water for the villagers!

The Ujung Kulon Nature Reserve

             The main attraction in Ujung Kulon nature reserve is the single-horned rhinoceros. Many visitors come to look at this endangered species-it almost disappears. The single-horned rhinoceros exists only in Java. It is about three meters long and one and a half meters tall. It weighs about 2,200 kgs, but it can still run fast. Rhinoceros is most active during the night. So, people rarely encounter this animal during the day.

            If you take public transportation, you need to change several times to get to Ujung Kulon. You can reach this destination in approximately ten hours. First, take the minibus from Jakarta or Bogor to Labuhan. This bus ride will take approximately four hours. From Labuhan, you have to take a boat to Pulau Peucang. This will take another five to six hours. From Pulau Peucang, take a boat to Ujung Kulon. It takes about 20 minutes.

            To explore Ujung Kulon, you need to hike for seven kms. The ground is damp or wet. There are steep rises and fallen trees. You have to cross streams but they are not very deep. You can step or large rocks so your feet do not get wet. If you’re lucky you can encounter rhinos, deer, and other animals. You can hear many birds. The trail through Ujung Kulon National Park is full of obstacles and surprises.

Monsters, Inc

              Monsters inc is a digitally animated film. This comedy is produced by Disney and Pixar Animation. The setting is a fantasy world of funny and colorful monsters. She creates a lot of trouble there. Sully, a big blue monster and Mike, a green monster with only one eye, have a mission to send the girl back to the world of humans,

            Strangely though, these monsters are actually afraid of children because they think children are toxic. One day, a little girl walks into her closet and steps into the monsters world. The voices of these monsters are supplied by well-known actors, such as Billy Crystal and John Goodman. These monsters work in a factory called Monsters, Inc…. they have to scare little kids in their sleep.

            On the whole, Monster, Inc is good entertainment for the family. Kids will be thrilled to see this movie. This movie is very funny. It offers lots of action and move fast from one scene to another. Moreover, there is no foul language or crude humor in this movie.

Because a PDA is small and light, people can easily access their emails and websites when they are outside their office.

            Along with the unceasing development of technology, experts have created a smart phone. A smartphone is a mobile phone that has the ability to use and functions that resemble computer. A smartphone is a small computer that has the ability of a telepon. Smartphone has the ability to display photos, play videos, check and send e-mail, and browse the information on the Web

          Definition 

     Degree of comparison is one of English grammar are often used in practice both written and conversational. The material degree of comparison is included in the category adverbal and adjectives for use both these elements to create a degree of comparison sentence.  

     The Degrees of Comparison in English grammar are made with the Adjective and Adverb words to show how big or small, high or low, more or less, many or few, etc., of the qualities, numbers and positions of the nouns (persons, things and places) in comparison to the others mentioned in the other part of a sentence or expression. Degree of comparison itself is divided into three, namely positive, comparative and superlative, all three are equally serves as something used to compare.  

       a. Positive Degree             Is an adjective used to declare an object or person in the same situation with
       the other. 
                                               
       Example       :  
           a.     He is as tall as his uncle.  
           b.     Najlia is as smart as Rania.  
           c.      You are as small as my sister.    

       b. Comparative Degree

            Is used to express the comparison, where the adjective and adverb changes.

       If the adjective or adverb is composed of one syllable such as smart, big, low   

       then add in the 'er' if more than one syllable like handsome, beautiful, expensive

       then add in the 'More', then any comparison in the added 'than 'meaning' than'.

Example :

a.     My house is larger than Doni's house.

b.     Magazine is more interesting than newspaper.

c.     Mr.Jack is richer than Mr. Black.

        C.  Superlative Degree  

              Is used to express the comparison, where the adjective and adverb change.

        If the adjective or adverb is composed of one syllable such as smart, big, low

        then add in the 'est' if more than one syllable like handsome, beautiful,expensive

  then add in the 'Most', the superlative is used to compare at least 3 or more and

  it always begins with the word 'the'.

c.     My home is the smallest one in the village.

       The police have named three suspects for the murder of EP, a worker at a plastic factory in Kosambi, Tangerang, Banten province. The suspects are RA, 15, R, 20, and IH, 24.

      “They all admitted what roles they played during the reenactment at the crime scene last night,” Tangerang Police detective chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Sutarmo said Monday.Before murdering the 18-year-old girl, the three suspects gang raped her, he said. “We found semen spilled all over the victim’s room,” he was quoted by tempo.co as saying.

      According to the police investigators, the suspects had admitted that they strangled the victim with a pillow until she nearly fainted and took turns to rape her. Reportedly, one of the suspects then took a hoe and stuck its handle into the woman’s private parts and then kicked the wooden handle so it penetrated deeper. “At that time, the victim was still alive.” Sutarmo said.

      The sadistic murder allegedly started when RA, who is the victim’s boyfriend, came to the boarding house for factory workers where EP lives on Thursday evening at 11:30 p.m.. RA, who had only been acquainted with EP for one month, reportedly asked EP to have sex, but she declined his request. Irked, RA went out the room and met two of his friends R and IH.

      The three friends allegedly forced their way into the room and committed the offense. EP’s body was discovered by her friends at PT Polyta Global Mandiri, Eroh, Tikroh and Nopi on Friday. They found that EP’s room was locked from outside and they decided to break into the room. Jakarta police spokesman Sr. Comr. Awi Setiyono said police investigators had questioned eight witnesses as part of the investigation into the murder.
